November Speaker: Bill Nichols,"The Flora and Natural Communities of the Isles of Shoals"

Bill will speak of his studies on the Isles of Shoals, and the extensive areas on the Isles where vegetation reflects natural processes associated with the surrounding maritime environment.  He'll also talk about several rare plants and natural communities he noted on the Shoals that aren't found elsewhere in New Hampshire and Maine.

SREA will meet at the Seacoast School of Technology on Linden Street in Exeter. A Comfort Food menu will be offered by Julia's Kitchen for $12. Ann Beattie will give a power point presentation on the Isles of Shoals and the impact industry has had on the islands at 11:45 a.m. with lunch at 12:30 p.m. Each guest is requested to bring can goods for a local food pantry.
