Friendly Toast Benefit Night: April 21

April 21, 2016: Save the date and join our ISHRA benefit with drinks, dinner, and dessert at the Friendly Toast Restaurant in downtown Portsmouth. 20% of all sales from 4-8 pm will benefit ISHRA. All that’s needed is to join us and bring your family and friends!

Fall 2015 ISHRA Membership Meeting

tenmilesout_thumbnailPlease join us November 10th at 7:00 pm at the 3S Art Space in Portsmouth for a night of conversation with Guy Capacelatro III and some surprise guests from a Star Island writers group. The group will sing music and describe how the Shoals have inspired their written and spoken word. Guy Capacelatro’s album “Ten Miles Out” is one of a variety of music and writing projects on which Guy has worked. He teamed with fellow song writer and musician Craig Werth on this celebration of the Shoals.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The ISHRA General Membership Meetings will no longer be held at the Seacoast Science Center though we thank them generously for hosting us all these past years. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday November 10th at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at our new meeting venue:  3S Art Space located at 319 Vaughn Street in Portsmouth NH.


ISHRA Community Supper at Robert’s Maine Grill Dec 1 & 8

ISHRA_RobertsGrill_DEC2015On Tuesday and Wednesday nights from September to June Robert’s Maine Grill, located on 326 Route 1, Kittery Maine offers a “Community Supper” starting at 4PM. The Community Supper is a $14 – 3 course menu in the spirit of Robert’s style: Maine Comfort Food with an updated twist. Robert’s regular dinner menu is also available. Robert’s will donate a portion of the evening’s proceeds to a designated local non-profit, which will be ISHRA on December 1st & 8th.  Upcoming Community Supper menus are posted at  Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 207-439-0300.
