ISHRA June 2011 Conference: We Did Come Back! But why did we come here in the first place? (June 25-29)

This 5 day/4 night conference looks back at the grand hotels of the Seacoast in their golden age, the late 1800s: how they were built, what guests experienced, and how some families stayed for weeks at a time. Designer Robert Cook and historian Bryant Tolles will be among the featured speakers. The conference includes roundtrip ferry from Portsmouth, all meals in the dining room, and rustic yet comfortable accomodations in the historic Oceanic Hotel and surrounding buildings on Star Island. Conference programming fee $100 per person. Room and board (including four nights' accomodations, all meals, and roundtrip ferry from Portsmouth) is $480 per person in double rooms, $595 per person in single rooms.
